This is a web application designed to provide secure collaborative internet work spaces between a professional and a client. It solves a number of problems for professionals at a monthly price that is reasonable and will pay for itself.

We will do everything in our power to make this a productive tool for you. We have unlimited telephone support and telephone product training, and we consider the one on one, first name basis, personal customer relationship, the only way to go. If you need tweaks to the software we will put you on the phone with one of our software engineers and they will discuss with you if we can do what you want.

This is a month to month subscription that is charged to your credit card. We automatically email you paid invoices with full details each time your card is charged. The first month is free. You can sign up for a free one month trial and upgrade to a full subscription, or you can subscribe now with your credit card and you will get the first month free. You can cancel anytime by using the Administration menu in the software.

page topWhat’s the fine print?
There are no conditions which would bind you to paying a subscription fee after you cancel. We charge before the month of use, not after, so if you cancel you have until the end of the month then your subscription is over. When you subscribe you are asked to check a box that says you agree with our Terms and Conditions. We have three Terms and Conditions for use of the software. There is a Privacy Statement, a Software Subscription and License Agreement and a Cancellation Policy. These Terms and Conditions are designed to provide superior service.

page topHow does this work?
The software is designed to allow professionals to click on Create and that makes an internet based workgroup for their client that only the professional, the client and others the professional invites into the workgroup have access to. Automatic emails are sent to anyone invited to the workgroup with a username and password. Within this secure workgroup the client and professional can share information, files, dates, notes, and with the other tools provided have an internet office space that most clients feel is much closer to the professional than a phone call. The professional has a simple interface that manages all of their clients and for both professional and client the interface is a very easy to navigate point and click experience. For those in the medical field, this applications security is HIPAA compliant.

page topWhat’s the process you use?
There are a few different processes depending upon the process question. The software creates internet workgroups for professionals and their clients in the legal, counseling and coaching profession. That software is a web application created using the latest software development processes. Our credit card billing process is an internal process using software we built for that specific purpose. The subscription process for using our software is a month-to-month subscription that can be cancelled anytime but only by our customers. We do not cancel subscriptions at the request from, or for our customers, due to the sensitive nature of the professions we serve and the need to substantially validate who is asking us to cancel a subscription that may have active client workgroups with client data attached.

We use the web based software from GoToMeeting.com that allows us to show you our screen, and for us to optionally see your screen and for either of us to use the mouse and keyboard. In this interactive environment we can visually show you all aspects of our software, how to use it, and how you can use your own logo on our site, while you sit back and relax and we do the driving. We offer all of our customers unlimited telephone support and product training.

For the professional products we offer make a list of the clients you want to offer the software to and a list of your in house staff that will use the software. You can also get a good copy of your logo which can be used to replace our logo for branding your client groups. Start with your most ambitious clients who will see having an extranet with you as a benefit to hiring you. Knowing this information ahead of the first day is a big help. If you have an extensive list of clients you would like to roll this out to immediately, please call us at 866-262-5750 and we can assist you with importing the names into the database and automating the process.

You need a web browser and internet access. Our products are tested in the most popular web browsers including Internet Explorer current version and most recent version, Firefox current version, Safari current version and Opera. Apple Macintosh users may from time to time see formatting inconsistency within our software. We may use Flash on the public web site but not within the web application. The software is designed for use with high speed internet access and not the old 56Kb modem dial up.

You can get your clients on our system within the first 10 minutes of signing up. Sign up, immediately receive your welcome email with the temporary password, login the first time and change your password, click on Create New (case, matter, client) and put in the email address, first and last name of your client and click Submit. You have just created a new private extranet workroom that is sending your client an email with their user name and temporary password. You will see their new client group listed in your client directory, click on their name and enter into their group where you can use the files, calendar and other tools to begin working with your client.

You can upload your logo which removes our logo, which effectively makes the software private labeled just for you. Your name and title will appear in the header for all your clients and you have control over what it says. If you have improvement ideas for our software we want to hear from you. CLC Technology software over the past five years has evolved with client input and we have implemented many client suggestions.

In 10 minutes after you signup to use the software you can have a client invited into a workgroup and begin active use of the software. We suggest when you sign up that you call us and let us do a software walk through which takes about 20 minutes, this way you have met us and know who to call if you need assistance and you have received a good overview of the software. We consider new customer phone calls very important and that is why we assign those calls to company managers.

All of these have better solutions using our software: Not always, but sending clients documents by email results in clients not receiving the document, clients misplaced it in their email and you calling clients asking about it. Sending clients documents by mail or courier requires the unprofitable process of packing, shipping, tracking and paying for it. Giving a client a date over the phone and not following up to remind them can result in lost time for missed appointments. Having your clients call you to ask what is currently going on with their “case” or “matter’ or “consulting” is nice, but it’s also unplanned and perhaps not profitable for you to chat on the phone about something that has not changed since the last time you talked to them.
